Ceftiofur (as the hydrochloride salt) ………125mg

Description:
Ceftiofur is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic that exerts its effect by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. like other β-lactam antimicrobial agents, the cephalosporins inhibit cell wall synthesis by interfering with the enzymes essential for peptidoglycan synthesis. this effect results in lysis of the bacterial cell and
Accounts for the bactericidal nature of these agents.

Indication:
Ceftiofur hydrochloride intramammary infusion is indicated for the treatment of subclinical mastitis in dairy cattle at the time of lactating associated with
staphylococcus coagulase-negative, streptococcus dysgalactiae, and escherichia coli.

Infuse one (1) syringe into each affected quarter at the time of lactation period, once a day. if continuous medication is required, once daily for eight days.

Side Effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions.

Contraindications:
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to ceftiofur and other b-lactam antibiotics or to any of the excipients.
Do not use in cases of known resistance to ceftiofur or other b-lactam antibiotics.

Withdrawal Time:
For meat: 0 days
For milk: 72 hours.
