The combination of trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole acts synergistic and usually

Contra-Indications:
Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulfonamides.

Side Effects:
Anaemia, leucopenia and thrombocytopenia.

Dosage:
For intramuscular administration:
General: twice daily 1 ml per 10 – 20 kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.

WithdrawalTimes:
For meat : 12 days.
For milk : 4 days.
